Everyday Skincare
If you want to keep your skin, especially the skin on your face, as healthy and beautiful as possible, you should follow a daily Skincare program with these four steps:
•Use a simple cleanser and skip the soap: Use a gentle cleansers that has NO harsh chemicals in it. One of my favorites is L'Bri Facial Cleansers. L'Bri has 2 formulas to choose from: Deep Pore Cleanser - For Oily, Combination, and Acne prone skin and the Gentle Cleanser - For Normal, Dry, and Extra Dry Skin.
•Exfoliate: Getting rid of the dead layer of skin growing on your face will keep your skin looking good and healthy and decrease acne. Just make sure you are using a gentle Exfoliating Product that will not damage your delicate facial skin. My favorite is the Exfoliating Facial & Body Scrub
•Use a alcohol -free toner/freshener: A lot of people skip this step but, using a Toner or Freshener is essential to proper skin care because it restores the natural pH balance to your skin that helps it to naturally fight acne causing bacteria.
•Use Facial Moisturizers that are able to penetrate your skin, soak in deep, and then pull water inside your skin and hold it there all day long. These should contain Aloe Vera, Vitamins A, C, E. Apply the moisturizer twice daily after you cleanse tone and or exfoliate.
•Sunscreen in the morning: If you are going to buy just one Skincare product, make it a sunscreen, with at least an SPF 15. The number one determinate of our aging, other than our genes—and if you smoke, of course it is all out the window—is sun exposure. "Ultraviolet light will prematurely age our skin."
